MUN chapter began in May 2022 to support and advance the academic, professional, and
social experience of students of Memorial University who care about a sustainable future.
The mission of the Student Energy chapter at the Memorial University of Newfoundland is to support sustainable energy initiatives in Atlantic Canada to address the need for providing clean, accessible, and affordable energy to different communities of the Atlantic region. we are inspired to foster sustainable energy transition by integrating academic research and education with our community's professional and social opportunities.
Navid Nazari, originally from Iran, majoring in Mechanical Engineering, holds seven years of professional experience in the oil and gas industry. His goal is to help advance zero-emission energy production and energy-efficient technologies to build a sustainable future. During his free hours, he likes reading, swimming, cooking and clicking photos.

Huda Radwan, originally from Jordan majoring in Mechanical Engineering dreams of a future full of luxury for all people without compromising our earth and natural resources. She enjoys hiking, swimming and reading in her leisure times.
